Daniel Castellanos
Executive Director

Daniel is a founding board member of QPH and founding member of COLEGA, the Colombian Lesbian and Gay Association. He was Assistant Director of Community-Based Research at GMHC before returning to school to obtain his master’s degree in public health. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.

Sassafras Lowrey
Program Coordinator
Sassafras has been involved in LGBTQ community organizing with grassroots, statewide, national organizations, political campaigns, and is passionate about community organizing. Sassafras is the author of two books about queer community. Much of her private work has been focused on the needs of homeless queer youth, the transgender community, and queer art/storytelling as tools for community mobilization.

Erica Sullivan
Health Referral Specialist
Erica Sullivan (B.A. Psychology) has experience providing mental health programming and has recently been involved in community-based health promotion research. Erica is passionate about LGBTQ health advocacy and is currently a masters of public health candidate at Hunter College School of Health Sciences at City University of New York.
