About Queens Pride House
Established in 1997, Queens Pride House (QPH) serves the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) community of Queens County in New York City. Our mission is to create a safe and nurturing space where LGBTQ community members and their families are empowered to reach their full potential. To achieve this goal, QPH seeks to increase access to LGBTQ-friendly health and social resources, heighten social awareness on social justice, build community partnerships, and advocate for more comprehensive and appropriate services. In addition to our health and social referral program, we offer a variety of services including discussion and support groups, workshops, multicultural events, trainings, a lending Library, and a media center with free Internet access. We also conduct media campaigns, research, advocacy and training on a variety of issues impacting the lives of LGBTQ Queens residents.
