Outreach & Education
Community Outreach
QPH continually visits local businesses, social service organizations, and gay bars in Queens to distribute information about our programs and services, health-related information, condoms, and to provide on the spot health referrals.

Queens Pride House staff regularly conduct anti-homophobia and LGBT 101 trainings for local area schools and community centers. These workshops can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your group or program. Please contact QPH staff at info@queenspridehouse.org or call 718-429-5309 for more information about our trainings and how to schedule one for your program.
Health Workshops & Brunches
Partnering with LGBT organizations around the borough and the city at large, QPH coordinates and hosts health brunches or workshops each month. The topics for each event vary and target different audiences. Past topics have included: Breast & Cervical Cancer Prevention (in English & Bengali), Eroticizing Consent (in English), and Preventing Domestic Violence (in English & Spanish), as well as events in response to hate crimes committed against our community. Queens Pride House also organizes a monthly Service Provider brunch designed to increase cultural competency amongst healthcare providers within the borough.
