Health & Social Services

Our drop-in center consists of a 1,500 volume LGBT-focused lending library, a small computer lab with internet access & free wifi, a café, and a lounge. During open hours (Tues - Friday 1-9, Sat. 1-6pm) participants can use any of these resources as well as receive in-person health referrals from English/Spanish bilingual QPH staff. In addition, clients can accesss our referral program and support groups.

This a bi-monthly discussion group offered in partnership with Las Buenas Amigas that meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. This group focuses on health and emotional issues of interest to Latina lesbians in New York. It is open only to self-identified Latina lesbians.
 
The Transgender Discussion Group has been meeting every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month since December 9, 2008 at 7pm. The group focus is on the specific needs and concerns of transgender residents of Queens including FTM, MTF, and Genderqueer communities. The group is a safe and affirming place for Trans folks in Queens to build community, and get connected with local resources.
 
This occurs every 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 7pm to 9. It is a biweekly support & discussion group open only to Spanish-speaking gay, bisexual, queer, and questioning men. This group focuses on physical, social, and mental health issues.
